As a travel RN on the C3 MS/Oncology unit (12-hour nights, every other weekend and holiday), you will gain invaluable experience working alongside diverse healthcare professionals and seasoned nurse leaders. This setting is ideal for expanding your clinical expertise, particularly in stepdown and oncology care, while adapting to best practices from different regions and approaches. Not only will you bolster your resume with acute care and critical care skills, but you'll also benefit from exposure to innovative workplace cultures and patient-centered models.
Schedule:
12-hour night shifts Every other weekend required Every other holidayQualifications:
Unencumbered RN license (state-specific or compact) Current BLS (required prior to patient care); ACLS preferred 1 year+ of RN experience; 6+ months acute care hospital setting preferred Oncology background and dysrhythmia proficiency strongly preferred (study guide provided)EPIC EHR
experience a plus Must reside >50 miles from the facility Physical ability to lift, move, and provide patient careKey Responsibilities:
Comprehensive, ongoing patient assessments and care planning Medication administration and monitoring for safety and outcomes Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and advocate for patients Management of complex cases: multi-system failure/trauma, advanced respiratory modalities, hemodynamic monitoring, and more Patient and family education, and providing support throughout their care journeyBenefits & Perks:
