Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Travel Step into a vital role providing expert nursing care in a telemetry and long-term acute care environment. As a Telemetry Registered Nurse, you'll have shift accountability, utilizing your clinical expertise to deliver safe, high-quality patient care that adheres to state, national, and facility standards. This contract position requires effective application of the Nursing Process, critical thinking, ongoing professional development, and collaborative leadership with nursing staff.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract role, full-time schedule
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Missouri RN license or multi-state RN license (must be included with resume) Valid ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be submitted with application) 2-5 years of recent nursing experience in telemetry or LTAC settings Proficiency in clinical assessment, critical thinking, and judgment Previous experience delegating, directing, and supervising nursing personnel Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and maintaining clinical competencies
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the Nursing Process Monitor cardiac readings and promptly respond to changes in patient status Anticipate and plan for the safe delivery of care, demonstrating sound clinical judgment and leadership Oversee and support nursing personnel, ensuring high standards of care are met Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state Nurse Practice Act, and regulatory requirements
