Professionally, you'll be immersed in a cardiac telemetry unit serving primarily acute cardiac patients, as well as post-cardiac procedure care and complex illnesses. Collaboration with seasoned healthcare teams allows you to gain invaluable exposure to a wide range of patient cases, diverse workplace methodologies, and leadership styles—all vital for career advancement and personal growth.
Schedule:
Shift:
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Full Time Every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday) Holiday coverage required No on-call, no travel between locations
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to primarily acute cardiac patients Accurately monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry using GE monitors Oversee titration and administration of cardiac medications, including tikosyn and Sotalol Coordinate post-cardiac invasive procedure care Work collaboratively with techs and other care team members for optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications:
Active KS RN license required 1 year of acute RN hospital experience ACLS and BLS certifications required TR Band experience mandatory ADN accepted with contract to earn BSN within 5 years; BSN strongly preferred
