Qualifications & Experience:
ARDMS certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, with a focus in General/Abdominal Ultrasound Minimum of 1 year recent experience performing general ultrasound procedures Current BLS certification, accredited by the American Heart Association Proficiency with imaging equipment and electronic health records Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
Safely perform and accurately document a variety of general ultrasound exams Collaborate closely with radiologists and fellow technologists for seamless patient care Assess patients and tailor imaging protocols as appropriate Ensure safe operation of equipment, adhering to policies and quality standards Contribute to a supportive environment while educating patients and families throughout procedures
