Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Travel Discover the scenic charm of Oneonta, NY, nestled in the rolling hills of Central New York. As a travel sonographer, you'll play a pivotal role in a busy, IAC-accredited vascular lab, expanding your professional portfolio in a progressive setting. Work alongside a diverse team of dedicated imaging professionals, gaining exposure to cutting-edge equipment, complex vascular and general ultrasound cases, and a range of workplace leadership styles. This environment is ideal for those eager to deepen their expertise, refine advanced ultrasound techniques, and broaden their clinical acumen by rotating through a variety of hospital sites and outreach clinics.
Schedule/Hours:
Participation in a rotating on-call schedule: 1 weekday evening on call every other week 1 weekend on-call approximately every fifth week Collaborative scheduling shared among a five-person team, ensuring work-life balance
Qualifications/Experience:
ARDMS certification (required) Strong proficiency in general and vascular ultrasound Independent competency in: Upper/lower extremity venous and arterial duplex studies Carotid and bypass graft studies Mesenteric and renal artery duplex studies Vein mapping, fistula flow, and venous reflux studies Experience in interventional radiology (IR) preferred Understanding of IAC-accredited vascular lab standards RVT certification highly desirable Skills assessments and detailed competency records (required at submission)
Responsibilities:
Perform the full range of vascular and general ultrasound tests with a high degree of independence Rotate through different hospital campuses and outpatient facilities as needed Participate in on-call coverage as part of a collaborative imaging team
