Schedule/Hours:
Rotational shifts within department, across divisions, and off-site clinics as required
Required Qualifications:
Completion of an AMA-accredited Ultrasound Program with at least 12 months of full-time clinical ultrasound experience ARDMS certification (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) is mandatory Experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of ultrasound studies, including abdomen, OB/GYN, pediatrics, basic vascular, and small parts; may include interventional procedures Ensure two-point patient identification and proper patient preparation; obtain and review relevant history and lab data Clearly explain exams, respecting patient confidentiality and ethical standards at all times Adhere to universal safety precautions and protocols tailored to each patient's needs Maintain proficiency in all necessary equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly Rotate as needed within the department and off-site locations, fostering positive relationships with all staff Manage required documentation, PACS, RIS, and reporting tasks efficiently for each exam Prepare exam rooms and equipment daily; ensure all supplies are stocked Commit to ongoing learning and meeting continuing education standards Safely transport and transfer patients following departmental guidelines Apply independent judgment in a fast-paced, varied clinical setting
