Job Description

Travel assignment (exact hours/shift details provided during interview process).
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification or registry eligible. Proven expertise in Ultrasound General imaging. Strong professional judgment grounded in medical ethics. Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare facility preferred. Excellent communication and patient-care skills. Ability to supervise and instruct students or new staff (a plus).
Role Responsibilities:
Apply sonic energy to assist in diagnostic imaging for physician review. Produce, process, and archive high-quality sonographic images using advanced technology. Ensure strict compliance with hospital policies, maintaining a professional environment and supporting department efficiency. Coordinate daily patient flow and staff schedules, providing guidance to team members and clinical students. Oversee quality control in the work area, including ordering/restocking supplies and reporting any equipment or safety issues. Collaborate on accreditation efforts, participate in peer reviews, and help guide equipment selection. Diligently execute patient care duties, including order verification, performing and documenting exams, and supporting providers with procedures.
