This travel assignment is an exceptional opportunity for an Imaging Ultrasound Vascular specialist eager to deepen skills and work alongside leadership with varying approaches in cardiac ultrasound services. Schedule/Hours:
Full-time travel assignment (specific hours and shifts to be provided upon interview).
Key Responsibilities:
Independently perform adult and pediatric transthoracic echocardiograms in line with procedural policy and store images on the archival system. Administer echocardiogram contrast for optimal imaging results and assist cardiologists with transesophageal echocardiograms, from patient prep to capturing tomographic views and documenting results. Support treadmill and dobutamine stress echocardiograms by obtaining pre- and post-stress images, collaborating with the cardiologist and nursing team, and complete thorough documentation. Maintain a safe diagnostic environment, consistently applying two patient identifiers. Confidently communicate with patients, providing clear explanations and addressing questions to ensure comfort and understanding. Complete clerical tasks such as study reviews, chart preparation, and updating procedural statuses. Perform additional duties as assigned to support department operations and patient care excellence.
Qualifications:
Proficient with vascular ultrasound imaging, with previous experience in adult and pediatric echocardiography highly desirable. Strong understanding of cardiac instrumentation and image quality assessment. Commitment to patient safety and exceptional communication skills. Flexibility to adapt to new environments and practices.
