Travel position; specific schedule details to be provided
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in Imaging—specializing in Ultrasound Vascular Proficiency with adult and pediatric echocardiography, including transthoracic and transesophageal studies Ability to determine the need for and administer echocardiogram contrast when required Skilled in performing and assisting with treadmill and pharmacological (dobutamine) stress echocardiograms Strong understanding of imaging instrumentation and quality assessment Commitment to patient safety protocols and consistent use of two identifiers Effective communication, patient instruction, and customer service skills Flexibility to perform clerical functions and adapt to additional assigned duties
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct echocardiograms per established policies and store images on the archival system Prepare patients and assist cardiologists during procedures, adjusting instrumentation as necessary Rinse and prepare equipment post-procedure for sterilization Collaborate with nurses and cardiologists during stress echocardiograms Complete clerical tasks such as study reviews, chart preparation, and finalizing procedures Maintain a safe environment for diagnostic testing Educate and reassure patients regarding all aspects of their diagnostic procedures Tackle other related duties to support patient care and team goals
