Job Description
Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Travel Discover the scenic beauty and vibrant community of Orangeburg, SC, where friendly Southern hospitality meets professional opportunity. This travel assignment offers more than just a change in scenery: it allows imaging professionals to experience hands-on growth within a Level III Trauma acute care setting. Gain invaluable exposure to varied clinical practices—ranging from the OR to inpatient, outpatient, orthopedic, fluoroscopy, and ER coverage—broadening your skills in fast-paced environments while collaborating with a diverse leadership team. You'll be providing essential radiologic services in a facility equipped with 286 staffed beds and advanced medical technology. Here, you'll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (5x8s) with an on-call rotation, including some weekends. The experience will enrich your resume and give you the opportunity to work with Epic for charting, support trauma teams during hurricane season, and adapt to dynamic clinical demands. During your downtime, explore historic downtown Orangeburg, enjoy the natural beauty of Edisto Memorial Gardens, or take quick trips to nearby cities—making each day an adventure.
Required Qualifications:
1 year of X-ray imaging experience required ARRT (R) certification and SCRQSA (R) credentials Active BLS and CPR certifications Fluoroscopy and operating room (OR) experience Ability to provide your own radiation badge Willingness to float within your scope to meet clinical needs (including OR, Ortho, Fluoro, Inpatient, Outpatient, and ER) Strong understanding of anatomical positioning and physiologyKey Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized radiographic procedures with minimal supervision Apply ionizing radiation safely and accurately for adult and/or pediatric diagnostic imaging Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and adapt to varying EMR and procedural protocols Be available for scheduled on-call shifts and rotate through weekend coverageEnjoy Outstanding Benefits:
