Schedule/Hours:
Travel-based assignment; details provided upon interview
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Valid state license or eligibility (if required) ARRT certification preferred Previous experience in diagnostic radiology highly desired Proficiency in a variety of imaging equipment and portable x-ray protocols Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Produce diagnostic radiographic images, positioning patients and utilizing immobilization devices as needed Operate imaging equipment and adjust technical factors for patient-specific exams Ensure safety by restricting radiation exposure to only affected areas Perform portable x-rays and support radiology needs in multiple hospital departments Properly label, process, and file all imaging studies Assist physicians in preparing and administering contrast media Complete administrative tasks, including scheduling, patient instruction, and record maintenance Deliver compassionate, individualized care to all patient populations
