Hours:
Weekend rotation: On-call only (2 weekends per month: Friday 4p-Monday 7a) 10-11 on-call shifts per month (including weekdays 4p-7a) 30-minute response time required
Qualifications/Requirements:
ARRT certification and active IEMA (IL radiology license) BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Minimum of 2 years' recent Cath Lab OR 2 years' IR experience Comfort with scrubbing and panning simultaneously, Impella, balloon pump, and hemodynamic monitoring Cross-training in both Cath Lab and IR modalities preferred EPIC charting experience advantageous No first-time travelers
Core Responsibilities:
Support diagnostic and interventional heart caths, EP procedures (pacemakers, ablations), and hybrid vascular interventions Deliver intra-procedural radiologic imaging for adult inpatient and outpatient populations Collaborate with a team comprising RNs, hospitalists, cardiologists, and techs to provide seamless patient care Possibility of floating between IR and Cath Lab as skills allow Utilize advanced Siemens and GE Cardio equipment for precise imaging and procedure support Why choose this travel assignment?
