Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Step into a vital role supporting diagnostic services as a Radiology Technologist. This contract position offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic imaging team, providing essential care for patients and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely radiological exams.
Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program Valid ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) State license or eligibility, as required BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Proven competency with diagnostic imaging equipment and procedures Ability to maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Schedule/Hours:
Contract role; flexible shift options may be available depending on department needs
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by providers Prepare patients for imaging exams, explaining steps to ensure comfort and understanding Operate radiology equipment safely and in compliance with regulatory standards Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records using electronic health systems Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other radiology staff Monitor equipment for proper functioning and coordinate maintenance as needed Practice established infection control and safety procedures at all times
