Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced professional with expertise in diagnostic imaging as a Radiology Technologist. This contract role requires a certified technologist ready to contribute their skills in a busy environment while ensuring quality care and safety for all patients.
Qualifications:
Current, valid Radiology Technologist certification required (please provide certification in your application). Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant experience in radiologic technology. Demonstrated proficiency in operating a variety of imaging equipment. Previous operating room (OR) radiology experience is required. In-depth understanding of radiation safety procedures and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and patient confidentiality. Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
Conduct high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures as prescribed by authorized medical staff. Support surgical teams with intraoperative radiology needs, ensuring safe and accurate imaging in the OR. Prepare, position, and educate patients while maintaining comfort and safety. Maintain accurate documentation and records of imaging procedures. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Follow all established protocols and departmental safety regulations. Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report any technical issues in a timely manner.
