Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel Take the next step in your Imaging career, working in a dynamic, high-acuity environment within a hospital recognized for its Magnet designation and Level III Trauma and NICU services. This contract opportunity calls for a Radiology Tech with strong skills, particularly in surgical and procedural settings, to provide exceptional imaging services across inpatient, outpatient, ED, and procedural sites serving all age ranges.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' acute or surgical imaging experience ARRT certification, Wisconsin License, and BLS required Advanced skills in surgical/procedural imaging, including portables, general, and fluoroscopy (ERCP, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases) Comfortable with mid- to high-level hospital environments; experience with OR imaging (ortho, general, spines, o-arm) a plus First-time travelers may be considered based on surgical experience and competency
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures in a fast-paced, high-volume department Handle an average of 15-20 patients per shift, ranging from routine diagnostics to complex surgical cases Collaborate closely with a dedicated team, including 24/7 radiologists, lead techs, hospitalists, and intensivists Utilize advanced equipment including GE, Fuji, Del Medical x-ray units, McKesson PACS, and Medtronic o-arms Maintain accuracy and safety in image acquisition and patient care, adapting quickly to varying levels of case complexity Participate in weekend rotations (every other week), one scheduled call shift per week, and share holiday coverage
