Erickson Senior Living We are seeking a Traveling Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. This full-time position will take you across various states, allowing you to showcase your leadership skills in Erickson's Living Enterprise. As a key leader, you will oversee mealtime preparation, service, and overall kitchen efficiency. You will be responsible for supervising and developing dining managers, supervisors, restaurant staff, and culinary teams, ensuring top-notch performance and service. You will also play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of the dining program and ensuring compliance with regulations, all while providing a focus on hospitality. Compensation:
$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year, plus eligibility for annual bonus Competitive benefits packages including medical, dental, vision, and PTO in accordance with applicable state law How you will make an impact Ensure resident satisfaction with food quality, service, and sanitation in Dining Room, Café, and Kitchen. Supervise and develop Dining Managers, Supervisors, and all dining staff, including Chef and kitchen staff. Oversee organization and sanitation of dining areas, kitchens, and storage. Ensure proper food portioning, plate presentation, and safe use of PPE. Manage food service operations, including purchasing, inventory, and budgeting. Coordinate and manage catering events. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and uphold Erickson Senior Living standards. Utilize food service and other computer systems effectively. Participate in resident and employee satisfaction programs. Maintain positive relationships with interdisciplinary and leadership teams, and onboard key management positions. What you will need Minimum of 5 years food service management experience required, including production, service and sanitation. Flexible with schedule; will be required to work weekends and holidays Serve Safe Certified obtained within 6 months of employment. Additional certifications are required by federal, state, and/or local regulations Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
