• 40 per hour (DOE) About the Role Earth‑Wise Horticultural Services is seeking a skilled and safety‑focused Tree Climber to join our team in the Roaring Fork Valley.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, problem‑solving, and working outdoors in a team environment. Key Responsibilities Perform tree climbing using ropes, saddles, and modern climbing techniques Conduct pruning, removals, cabling, and general tree care Operate chainsaws, rigging equipment, chippers, and other tools safely Assist ground crew with cleanup, rigging support, and equipment handling Evaluate tree structure, health, and safety concerns Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Communicate effectively with crew leaders and clients Physical Requirements Ability to climb trees using ropes and harnesses for extended periods Lift, carry, push, and pull 50-75 lbs regularly Work in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, snow, and wind Comfort working at heights of 20-100+ feet Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions Stamina to perform full days of physical labor Qualifications Prior professional climbing experience preferred (strong trainees considered) Knowledge of modern climbing and rigging techniques Ability to operate chainsaws and arborist equipment safely Valid driver's license with a clean driving record ISA certification a plus but not required Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork mindset Employment Requirements Earth‑Wise Horticultural Services participates in E‑Verify to confirm employment eligibility Pre‑employment background check may be required Must be authorized to work in the United States Equal Opportunity Employer Earth‑Wise Horticultural Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
