In this energetic role, you will work outdoors to prune, trim, and care for trees, ensuring safety and aesthetic appeal across various properties. Duties Safely ascend trees using climbing gear, rigging techniques, and bucket trucks to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks. Operate bucket trucks and other equipment such as bucket lifts to reach high branches efficiently. Implement proper rigging procedures to secure branches and debris for safe removal. Conduct comprehensive tree assessments, including health evaluations and growth inspections using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools. Assist with landscape maintenance activities like lawn care, planting, and general landscaping to enhance property aesthetics. Apply horticultural knowledge to identify tree species, diagnose issues, and recommend appropriate care or treatments. Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure team safety. Experience Proven growing experience in tree care, horticulture, or related landscape fields. Familiarity with tree trimming techniques and general arboriculture practices. Experience operating bucket trucks, lifts, or similar equipment is highly preferred. Knowledge of rigging procedures for safe branch removal is a plus. Basic understanding of GIS technology for mapping and property management is advantageous. Previous work in landscape maintenance or lawn care enhances your ability to contribute effectively.
