Tree Crew Groundsman

Krintz Tree Care LLC and Crane has been providing professional tree services to the Tippecanoe and White County areas for more than 20 years. Our company is growing and we are looking to hire multiple tree care specialist to join our well experienced, talented, and professional teams as we expand. Tree Care Specialists work alongside a 4 person tree crew assisting in tree removal, tree trimming, stump grinding and wood chipper operations. Our crews are equipped with aerial tracked lifts and cranes to aid in tree removal and trimming.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist crew with equipment and vehicle preparation daily Assist crew to safely get tree debris on ground Assist crew to clean debris from customer property Ensure drop zones are safe for coworkers and public Safely use tree care operations equipment including but not limited to gas powered saws, pole saws and chippers Load and unload trucks and chippers with logs, brush and debris Ensure proper care of all equipment Receive and follow directions Maintain professional image Provide friendly and excellent customer service Maintain and service equipment as needed Follow safety culture and safety procedures Ability to perform physical tasks and be able to lift up to 50 pounds Work outdoors in various weather conditions Self discipline, self motivated, and hard working Team player Report to work on time each day

Required Experience/ Skills:

Tree Care Operation Experience At least 18 years of age Ability to work 40 hours or more each week Ability to lift 50 pounds Excellent communication skills Positive attitude

License/Certification:

Valid driver's license with clean record

Job Type:

Full-time year round

Schedule:

10 hour days - 4 days per week based on weather and holidays. Overtime available

Pay:

$16.00 - $25.00 based on experience with overtime pay available
