In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing tree care, trimming, and landscape maintenance tasks that enhance the safety and aesthetics of outdoor environments. Your hands-on work with tree rigging, bucket trucks, and horticultural practices will contribute to thriving green spaces. This position is for a startup tree service that is looking to grow fast with the right team of people in place. We are looking for individuals that desire a high bar of standards. Pay will depend on experience Duties Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely to access trees for pruning, trimming, and removal. Use rigging techniques to safely lower large branches or trees during removal or pruning projects. Perform tree care activities including planting, trimming, shaping, and health assessments to promote growth and safety. Experience Prior experience or training in tree care is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Knowledge on proper chainsaw use and technique. Knowledge in daily maintenance and inspection of equipment (Greasing equipment, sharpening saws, inspection of equipment and rigging equipmen, ect). Familiarity of safety with dangerous equipment Leadership role, good public relations skill, professional attitude and reliability are a must. Familiarity with bucket operation, bucket trucks, or similar equipment is advantageous. Valid driver's license Must pass background No drugs Knowledge of rigging techniques for safe tree removal or pruning is a plus. Growing experience in arboriculture will support your success in this role. Ability to follow safety procedures diligently while working outdoors in various weather conditions.
