Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver

Responsibilities:

• Being on time
• Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites
• Load and unload materials using the dump truck's hydraulic bed (Gravel, Sand and Asphalt)
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the dump truck
• Inspect the dump truck before and after each shift to ensure it is in good working condition
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel
• Maintain a clean and organized dump truck, both inside and out
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while on the job site
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications:

• Required Class B CDL with a clean driving record
• Previous experience operating a dump truck or similar heavy equipment is preferred
• Knowledge of paving, backhoe operation, bulldozing, horizontal drilling, loader operation, water truck operation, tanker operation, and other heavy equipment operations is a plus
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on the dump truck is desired
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and focus on safety
• Excellent communication skills
