AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and first responders when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, lobbies, and restricted areas, verify authorized access when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities according to site protocols. Support a professional atmosphere by assisting with directions, managing visitor-related concerns, and helping to de-escalate tense situations with courtesy and respect.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field. Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements. Be willing to work in a hospital morgue environment. Be able to restrain individuals when required. Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
