Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Trim Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, finishing, and repairing interior and exterior trim elements to enhance the aesthetic and functional quality of residential, commercial, or restoration projects. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality craftsmanship that meets project specifications and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your carpentry skills to create polished, professional finishes that stand out. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim components such as baseboards, crown molding, door casings, window trims, and wainscoting with precision and attention to detail Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation aligned with project plans Use hand tools (e.g., saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (e.g., drills, nail guns) safely and efficiently on various construction sites Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or applying caulking and other finishes to ensure seamless integration of trim elements Collaborate with framing carpenters and other trades to coordinate installation processes within the overall construction timeline Assist in fabrication of custom trim pieces using woodworking techniques or CNC machinery when necessary Perform restoration work involving water damage repair, stucco application, siding replacement, or mold remediation as needed Requirements Proven experience in trim carpentry, framing carpentry, or related construction roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for precise installation planning Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to carpentry tasks including saws, drills, nail guns, and measuring devices Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret project specifications accurately Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety protocols and industry standards Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Familiarity with additional skills such as drywall finishing (plastering), cabinetry installation, metal stud framing, roofing basics, flooring installation, tile laying or electrical experience is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your expertise in a fast-paced construction setting. Pay:
$27.66 - $33.31 per hour
