Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Trim Carpenter and bring craftsmanship to life through precise, detailed finishing work. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing interior and exterior trim elements that enhance the aesthetic and functional quality of residential, commercial, or restoration projects. Your expertise will contribute to creating beautiful, durable spaces that meet high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim components such as baseboards, crown molding, door casings, window trims, and wainscoting with accuracy and attention to detail Use hand tools (e.g., saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (e.g., nail guns, drills) safely and efficiently to complete tasks Collaborate and work well with framing carpenters, general contractors, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of trim work within larger construction or restoration projects Perform surface preparation including caulking, sanding, plastering, or painting to achieve a polished finish Assist with framing, stud installation, drywall finishing, or other carpentry tasks as needed for comprehensive project completion Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites Qualifications Proven experience in trim carpentry Skilled in using hand tools and power tools specific to carpentry tasks such as woodworking, fixture installation, door hanging, siding application, or cabinetry work Familiarity with construction site safety standards and ability to perform some heavy lifting when required Knowledge of various materials including stucco, rebar for concrete forming, roofing components, masonry elements, or metal studs for framing projects (a plus but not required) Experience in restoration industry practices such as water damage remediation or mold remediation(a plus but not required) Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams in fast-paced environments
