Demonstrate an understanding and acceptance of student differences (diversity) . Maintain proper records & documentation and confidentiality of information. Assess tutee status to determine areas of strengths/weaknesses. Schedule and conduct tutorial sessions, either one-on-one or small group tutoring. Maintain and document contact with assigned tutees. Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times and be a positive role model for students. Attend scheduled meetings, training sessions, workshops, seminars designed to enhance tutor/tutee experience. Other duties as directed by the Coordinator/Counselor. Competencies/Knowledge Skills, and Abilities Required in this Position Have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Be flexible, enthusiastic, and friendly. Have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Classified as a junior or senior. Be able to provide tutorial services for three or more subject/content areas.
