Job Description

The Truck Detailer is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of company and customer vehicles while also assisting with general shop upkeep and basic support tasks within the service department. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Wash, clean, wax, and detail company and customer trucks, trailers, and other vehicles. Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to company standards. Perform delivery driving duties as assigned, including transporting vehicles, parts, and other items between locations or to customers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, wash bay, and surrounding work areas. Perform general housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and maintaining shop cleanliness. Assist with basic building maintenance tasks as assigned. Support service technicians with basic non-technical duties as needed, including tasks such as attaching mudflaps, moving equipment, cleaning parts, and assisting with shop organization. Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and responsibly. Identify and report any damage, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards to management. Ensure detailing supplies and cleaning materials are stocked and properly maintained. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior detailing, automotive, or shop experience preferred but not required. Valid driver's license required. CDL preferred, but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical labor throughout the workday. Must maintain an acceptable driving record and be insurable under the company's insurance policy.
