Truck Driver/ Chofer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. A strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle freight with care are essential for success in this position. Position is paid as a W-2 employee with applicable payroll taxes withheld (or consider 1099). Duties Drive manual transmission vehicles and navigate routes effectively. Transport refrigerated trailers while maintaining appropriate temperature controls. Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding commercial driving. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections. Maintain clear and timely communication with dispatch, company management, and customer regarding delivery schedules and load updates. Skills Proficient in truck driving with experience in commercial driving environments. Familiarity with manual transmission operation. Experience with refrigerated trailers. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Strong commitment to conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring equipment and vehicle are safe and compliant before departure. Attention to detail for maintaining accurate logs and documentation.
