Truck Driver Class A

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, and flatbeds
• Transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trucks
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

Skills:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in delivery or route driving
• Knowledge of various truck types and their operation, including tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, and flatbeds
• Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols
• Basic automotive repair skills for minor maintenance tasks on trucks
• Ability to operate a forklift for loading and unloading cargo
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
