Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate different routes effectively. The Truck Driver will operate dump trucks, tractor-trailers and lowboy. Responsibilities Operate commercial vehicles including dump trucks and tractor-trailers in a safe and efficient manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met. Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise on the road. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Familiarity with various truck types such as dump trucks and tractor-trailers. Strong route driving skills with the ability to navigate efficiently using maps or GPS systems. Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records and conducting vehicle inspections. Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
