Truck Driver & Furniture Mover (Non-CDL)

Job Overview We are seeking skilled, reliable and self motivated Driver/Helper to join our team. As a vital member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of furniture to residences. Duties

• Operate a box truck, dolly, or other equipment to load and unload furniture safely and efficiently. May require heavy lifting of furniture and other materials.
• Drive a non-CDL, 26' box truck on a pre-determined route to deliver furniture to residences.
• Use a manual transmission to navigate through heavy traffic and construction zones.
• Conduct pre
• and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Follow delivery driver routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Lift heavy furniture, sometimes exceeding 50 pounds, with potentially using a pallet jack or other equipment.
• Manage and maintain a clean and organized vehicle and work area.
• Communicate effectively with customers and dispatchers to resolve any issues that may arise during delivery. Experience
• Proven experience as a delivery driver with a 26' box truck
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy furniture.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Skills

• Experience with commercial driving and route driving.
• Experience as a delivery driver.
