Rotating schedule with base hours of 9a-5:30p. Responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering/unloading IU Health supplies and equipment to various IU Health facilities via Box truck. Responsible for same-day routes/deliveries. Ensures trucks are prepared for departure and delivered on time. Assists with analyzing routes for delivery optimization. Inspects vehicles for potential safety concerns prior to departure. Maintains thorough delivery log documentation. Uses a Warehouse Management System or ERP Software to perform cycle counts, picking, put away, and shipping functions. Prepares bill of lading. Reports quality and safety concerns in a timely manner. Troubleshoots issues real time for resolution and escalates concerns. Trains team members on routes and safety checks. Coordinates vehicle preventive maintenance schedules and maintains maintenance records. Previous driving experience strongly preferred. High School Diploma or GED is required.
  •  Requires a valid Indiana drivers license.
  •  Must obtain Material Handling Safety Training certification within 2 weeks of hire date.
  •  Requires heavy pushing and pulling.
  •  Requires the continuous ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
  •  Requires the continuous ability to lift up to 20 pounds from waist to over-the-head routinely.
  •  Requires the continuous ability to carry up to 25 pounds.
  • 5-7 years of related experience is required.
  •  Requires experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  •  Requires the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment.
  •  Requires long periods of standing.
