Trucking Dispatcher

Job Summary We are seeking an organized Trucking Dispatcher to coordinate and oversee the daily operations of freight transportation. In this role, you will be the vital link between drivers, carriers, and clients, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Your proactive communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail will drive efficiency across our transportation network. Responsibilities Book loads (load boards, brokers and customers) Dispatch drivers & send clear schedules Coordinate pickups and deliveries with customers Track loads & provide status updates Communicate with drivers throughout the day Handle issues (delays, reschedules, etc. Send Invoices & ensure PODs are received Keep all load & driver information organized Manage fleet operations through fleet management software, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintenance schedules. Handle inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing exceptional customer service while coordinating freight movements efficiently. Skills Experience in Truck Dispatching (preferred) Strong communication and organization skills ability to multitask in a fast-paced logistics environment Must speak, read & write English Reliable and able to manage drivers professionally
