Tug Captain

Marshland Equipment Rentals, LLC is seeking an experienced Tug Captain for operations based in Cameron, Louisiana. Candidates must possess a valid USCG Master 100 Ton License with Towing Endorsement and demonstrate safe vessel operation experience in inland and coastal waters. Responsibilities Safely operate and navigate tug vessels Supervise crew and daily vessel operations Maintain compliance with USCG and company safety policies Complete vessel logs, inspections, and required reports Coordinate towing and marine support operations Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of vessel Requirements Valid USCG Master 100 Ton License with Towing Endorsement Current TWIC card Valid medical certificate Knowledge of inland and coastal waterways Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work rotational schedules as needed Prior tugboat experience preferred Position Details Full-time position Competitive pay based on experience Benefits available Work location: Cameron, Louisiana Apply Please submit your resume and copies of current credentials through Indeed for consideration.
