Job Description

Overview Come join our family orientated early childhood education team as a Two-Three year old Teacher. In this role, you will create and/or assist in creating a nurturing and engaging classroom environment tailored to the developmental needs of the children within the classroom. Your passion for childhood development will help lay a strong foundation for literacy, social skills, and emotional well-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while fostering their curiosity and love of learning. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for two-three year olds. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management. Assist in helping children work through their emotions when needed. Engage children in activities that support literacy education, early math skills, physical education, and sensory experiences at their level which includes on the floor, table, etc. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address individual needs, and support child welfare. Maintain accurate documentation of each child's development through assessments and standardized testing when applicable. Documenting of this will be in portfolios and Bright Wheel. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including meal times, nap schedules, and transitions to foster consistency and security. Qualifications Previous experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings preferred but will train the right person. Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management strategies is preferred Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education programs is preferred but can train the right person Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention strategies for diverse learners Ability to manage behavior positively while maintaining a nurturing environment is a huge one for us. We do not tolerate yelling or aggressive talking to our children. Certification in early childhood education or related fields preferred; ongoing professional development encouraged but can assist the right person in getting the correct training Join us in shaping the future by providing exceptional care and education to our youngest learners. Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
