up to 20 Summary We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Volunteer Caseworker to support our Transitional Living Facility for LGBTQIA+ young adults. This facility provides safe and supportive housing for young adults who identify as LGBTQIA+ and who are experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity, or other challenges. The Volunteer Caseworker will work closely with the Housing Program Manager and other staff to provide individual and group support to residents, assist with program development and implementation, and gain hands-on experience in the field of social work. Duties Provide case management and support services to residents, including assistance with goal-setting, life skills development, and access to community resources. Facilitate individual and group sessions to support residents' mental health, personal growth, and empowerment. Assist with program development and implementation, including outreach and engagement, intake and assessment, and program evaluation. Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners to create a supportive and inclusive environment that meets the unique needs of LGBTQIA+ young adults. Participate in staff meetings and trainings, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided. Attend and participate in community events, trainings, and meetings related to the work of the program.
