About the Job We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sr FP&A Partner- Store Planning to join the Tailored Brands Store Financial Planning & Analysis team. The Sr FP&A Partner will serve as a senior individual contributor and strategic partner, reporting directly to the Director of FP&A- Stores. This position is responsible for leading store-level financial planning across all banners (The Men's Wearhouse, Jos. A. Bank, Moores, and K&G), with a focus on building visibility into store-level performance, improving reporting, and driving individual store profitability. This role will also play a critical role within the FP&A team in creating process efficiencies within reporting and optimizing team financial models. This individual will work cross-functionally with Store Operations, Merchandise Planning, Real Estate, Supply Chain, and Field leaders to enhance decision-making and drive improved financial outcomes across the store fleet. What You'll Do | Key Accountabilities Store Level Planning
  • Lead the development of by-store sales and profitability planning across all banners, creating visibility into individual store performance and enabling more precise forecasting and decision-making.
  • Establish frameworks to identify store-level outliers, analyze performance drivers, and provide actionable recommendations to improve results.
  • Partner with operations and merchandising teams to incorporate local market dynamics, traffic trends, and inventory considerations into financial plans.
  • Analyze and forecast store performance across key KPIs, including sales, conversion, AUR, UPT, traffic, and payroll, identifying risks and opportunities to improve 4-wall contribution and drive overall store profitability.
  • Provide clear insights into what is driving performance (the "why") and recommended actions (the "what's next") at the store, region, and banner levels.
  • Support strategic decisions related to store optimization, including investments, remodels, and closures. Operational Efficiency & Reporting
  • Serve as a reporting lead for Stores FP&A, designing and optimizing reporting to ensure clear, actionable visibility into store-level KPIs and financial performance.
  • Develop and enhance dashboards and reporting tools that highlight the right metrics at the right level, driving focus on most impactful action.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment in data definitions, KPI calculations, and reporting outputs across the organization.
  • Drive improvements in how data is integrated, structured, and delivered, ensuring a single source of truth for store-level reporting.
  • Partner with IT and data teams to enhance systems and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Hyperion), reducing manual processes and improving scalability.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and speed to insight within the FP&A team. Strategic Thinking & Business Partnership
  • Partner closely with Store Operations, Field Leadership, Merchandising Planning, Real Estate, Supply Chain to align financial plans with operational strategies.
  • Provide insights that connect sales, inventory, labor, and external factors such as population growth and trade area dynamics.
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing forward-looking insights that support holistic decision-making across the store fleet.
  • Help shift the organization from aggregate reporting to granular, insight-driven financial management at the store level.
  • Contribute to building a more proactive, analytically driven FP&A function. What You'll Bring | Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA or CPA is a plus).
  • 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within retail or multi-unit environments.
  • Strong experience in store-level or multi-unit financial analysis, including sales, payroll, and profitability drivers.
  • Deep understanding of retail KPIs and operational performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to improve reporting, data structures, and financial processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical tools (Excel, ERP systems, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment

  • Holiday Early Departure | close out early the business day before a company observed holiday The starting salary for this position is $92,800 - $135,000.
Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. Over time, and subject to performance, tenure, and evolving responsibilities, total compensation for this role may grow to as much as $154,710. Other compensation may include a 10% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
