Company DescriptionTyler Union, a division of McWane, Inc., is the nation's leading manufacturer of Ductile Iron Waterworks Fittings and Appurtenances has an immediate opening for a Quotations Agent. Tyler Union's main manufacturing facility is located in Anniston, AL. The primary focus of this position is to assist Territory Managers and Customer Service Representatives by providing customer quotations that result in profitable sales revenue. The Quotations Agent will support the overall sales strategy through efficient and timely responses to internal and external customers by preparing and submitting quotes to customers. This role is highly CRM-driven, with the majority of quotation activity, tracking, and customer data managed within the system.

The Quotations Agent will work closely within a remote, cross-functional team environment, requiring strong communication and the ability to manage responsibilities independently. Desire and ability to provide superior customer service is imperative.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities and Job Duties:

Receive customer requests for quotation and communicate with the Sales Department to generate a quotationManage and track all quotation activity within the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and timely updatesPrepare cost and price estimates for materials using a variety of criteria, such as inventory availability, competitive position, price validity and other logistical considerations, including calculation of price escalations when necessaryCorrelate all cost information within time frame of bid date and time needed by customers and Sales teamBuild and maintain pricing measurements for decision making processesJob tracking, including maintenance of job win/loss record within CRMThorough knowledge of our product offerings as well as those of other manufacturersCommunicate with managers in regard to processes and pricing across remote and onsite teamsRepresent the company in a professional manner at all times in daily interaction with customer basePartner with Sales and internal teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategy and quotation accuracyPerforms various other miscellaneous sales and service-related duties as directed by management

Working Conditions:

This is an office position with eventual hybrid work opportunity. This role includes frequent collaboration with a remote, distributed team. Suitable candidate will maintain a positive attitude and work well in a team environment while also being comfortable working independently with limited day-to-day supervision.

QualificationsRequirements and Qualifications:

Previous Customer Service or Quotations experience idealAbility to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision in a remote or hybrid team environmentKnowledge of the manufacturer/distributor supply chain process desirableProficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to understand and work with formulas and formats submitted by customersFamiliarity with Microsoft D365 a plusPrevious experience managing quotes, customer data and activities within a CRM strongly preferred
