Position Overview The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for operating ultrasound and non-invasive vascular equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. This role ensures the delivery of safe, accurate, and high-quality imaging, and requires excellent technical proficiency, professionalism, and a patient-focused approach. Key Responsibilities Perform ultrasound examinations as outlined in the Radiology/Ultrasound Procedure Guide Monitor and assess patient condition, document findings accurately and promptly Provide education and guidance to team members and promote collaborative practice Ensure optimal image quality by conducting equipment checks and adjustments Participate in ongoing quality improvement and maintain accreditation standards (ICAVL, AIUM) Operate

systems competently within job scope Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure readiness of the imaging environment Participate in department meetings and support team communication Stay current with continuing education requirements to enhance skills and maintain certification Qualifications Education & Experience Completion of an educational pathway approved by

ARDMS Preferred:

Graduate of a CAAHEP or CMA-approved ultrasound/vascular technology program Licensure & Certification Certification and registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular Technology Must obtain ARDMS certification within 12 months of hire if not already held BLS certification required

Preferred:
