Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Take the next step in your imaging career as a skilled Ultrasound Technologist. Utilize your expertise in general ultrasound to support comprehensive patient diagnostics in a collaborative medical environment. Key Qualifications:
Proficient in performing and interpreting general ultrasound examinations Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification or equivalent credentials required Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred Strong patient care skills and a compassionate approach Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Keen attention to detail in capturing and documenting imaging results
Schedule and Hours:
Contract position with flexible coverage needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of general ultrasound procedures according to physician orders Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring operational readiness and safety Provide clear explanations and reassurance to patients throughout their examinations Accurately document images, findings, and observations in the patient health record Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to support timely and accurate diagnosis Adhere to all hospital policies and compliance standards
