Duties Monitor entrances and exits to authorize authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors, ensuring proper identification and access control Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity across the premises and identify potential security threats Perform routine patrols of the property to detect unauthorized access, safety hazards, or suspicious behavior Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations or conflicts, utilizing first aid and conflict management skills when necessary Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations to ensure accurate record-keeping Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical situations to coordinate effective responses Enforce loss prevention policies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious activity promptly Qualifications Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles preferred; military background is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional training in conflict management is advantageous Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and security protocols Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and security best practices Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle conflicts professionally Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods throughout shifts Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone can thrive!
