Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations for visitors and staff Respond promptly to alarms or disturbances, assessing situations calmly and efficiently Assist in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations with professionalism and tact Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes Support loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting concerns Requirements Proven ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts in a variety of environments Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members, visitors, and emergency responders Knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV operation, and basic conflict management strategies Certifications or training in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), or law enforcement experience are highly desirable Prior experience in security, military service, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory Ability to handle emergency situations calmly using conflict management skills and first aid knowledge when necessary Willingness to undergo background checks and obtain any required security clearances Join us as an Unarmed Security Guard and be part of a committed team dedicated to safety, prevention, and peace of mind.
