Officers maintain a visible presence at entrances, gaming areas, and other designated posts, using attentive observation, quick communication, and excellent guest service skills to prevent incidents and ensure a positive experience for everyone. (Only hiring for second shift 2:00pm-10:00pm third shift 10:00pm to 6:30am) Key Responsibilities

• Staff designated posts, including main entrances, back entrances, gaming floors, bars, and event spaces.
• Rotate posts throughout the shift for maximum visibility and coverage.
• Monitor guest activity and identify potential safety or security concerns.
• Control access to restricted areas and verify identification as needed.
• Assist in managing lines and crowd flow during peak hours, special events, and giveaways.
• Respond promptly to disturbances or emergencies, prioritizing de-escalation techniques.
• Provide detailed descriptions and timely alerts to the Surveillance team and armed officers when incidents occur.
• Offer courteous and professional assistance to guests, answering questions and giving directions.
• Complete accurate and thorough incident reports in accordance with VictoryLand policy.
• Support armed officers in maintaining a safe environment. Required Qualifications
• Minimum age: 21 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework or military service preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in security, hospitality, customer service, or related field.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Clean criminal background and ability to pass a drug screening. Preferred Qualifications
• Casino, hospitality, or crowd control experience.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• De-escalation or crisis intervention training. Training & Equipment
• Officers will be issued an official VictoryLand uniform, radio, and other required gear.
• Training in CPR/AED, de-escalation, and emergency procedures will be provided annually or as required. Work Environment
• 24/7 operation with shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exposure to large crowds, loud noise, and flashing lights.
• Requires wearing the issued uniform and carrying assigned equipment at all times while on duty.

Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
