Unarmed Security Officer

Duties:

• Patrol assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to deter illegal and inappropriate actions
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to ensure the safety and security of the premises
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities
• Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain order and protect the rights of individuals
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards
• Provide assistance and support to visitors, employees, and clients as needed
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities

Experience:

• Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of surveillance techniques, loss prevention strategies, and conflict management principles
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
• First aid and CPR certification is a plus
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
