Job Description
Job description Student Healthcare Administrator Altheda Medical Center is a multi-specialty medical practice on a mission to deliver high-quality, accessible care. We specialize in primary care, special medical exams, occupational health, behavioral health, wellness, and aesthetics. By integrating technology and prioritizing patient-centered care, we are redefining the traditional outpatient healthcare experience. We are looking for an Undergraduate Healthcare Administrator to support operations and workflows across our clinical and administrative departments.
Responsibilities:
Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a seamless front-desk experience. Welcome patients and visitors in person or via phone; answer or direct inquiries professionally. Maintain appointment schedules by notifying providers of patient arrivals and reviewing service schedules. Organize patient flow and manage scheduling systems. Handle patient records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. Prepare patient rooms, ensuring proper setup of instruments and equipment as per protocols. Support patient care by assisting with intake forms, gathering health histories, and organizing files. Conduct insurance verification and assist with billing inquiries. Assist with interdepartmental communication to ensure smooth clinical and administrative operations. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and company information.Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, business, or a related field. Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette. Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with medical/psychiatric terminology is preferred but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.About Us:
