Louisiana Working Environment:
Hybrid/Remote (15-20 HRS WEEK)
Division:
Site Access Location Requirements This position is designed to be primarily remote. Candidates must be willing and able to travel to The Woodlands, TX corporate office and/or other business siteson an as-needed basis during the internship. Job Summary NPK's Internship Program offers students the chance to gain real-world experience by working with subject matter experts in their field and collaborating within a dynamic team aligned with company strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities Support and Assistance:
Collaborate with other auditors within the department. Your tasks will include performing audit tests of business records, preparing work papers, and summarizing results.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Assess compliance in conjunction with organization policies.
Internal Control Assessment:
Understand internal controls for key processes and assist audit team members with review of controls.
Communication:
Collaborate with Internal Audit team , control owners, and stakeholders to perform testing and communicate results. Education & Experience Requirements Currently enrolled in Bachelor's program (Sophomore/Junior highly preferred) Strong interpersonal, analytical and collaborative skills; attentive to details. Display integrity, accountability, dependability, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Good verbal and written communications skills. Professional in client and audit team interactions. Ability to navigate various technology applications, including MS Office (emphasis on Excel); aptitude to quickly learn. Location Requirements This position is designed to be primarily remote. Candidates must be willing and able to travel to The Woodlands, TX corporate office and/or other business sites on an as-needed basis during the internship. In-person attendance requirements will be limited and communicated in advance.
Employment Duration :
Internship will begin Q4 of 2026 and could run for an extended period of time through candidates graduation if availability allows.
