Universal Banker

Position Summary As a Universal Banker at Tanager Bank, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service, fostering relationships, and providing financial solutions tailored to our clients' needs. This dynamic role combines teller transactions, account servicing, and proactive sales of financial products. Key Responsibilities •

Customer Transactions :

Accurately maintain a cash drawer, process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller transactions accurately and efficiently and in accordance with established policies. •

Account Management :

Open new accounts and assist with account maintenance. Educate clients on our suite of products. Influences, educates, and connects customers to technology. •

Lending Support :

Handle lending needs for products not secured by real estate, ensuring compliance with bank policies. •

Cross-Selling :

Identify opportunities to introduce financial products that match customer needs. Possesses initiatives and knowledge to provide financial options for customers using a consultative approach. •

Customer Service :

Delivers exceptional customer experience by acting with a customer-first attitude. Deliver personalized banking solutions by understanding customer goals, following up on inquiries, and building trust through genuine relationship management. Consistent focus on increasing customer satisfaction and account retention. •

Problem Resolution :

Address customer complaints, research issues, and provide timely, effective resolutions to ensure client satisfaction.. Experience Previous experience in retail banking or financial services is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm for sales and customer service. Strong knowledge of banking operations including cash handling, cashiering, loan processing, and basic math skills such as retail math. Familiarity with financial software applications used for transaction processing and record keeping. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to diverse customers. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to uphold confidentiality and adhere to fraud prevention standards diligently. Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
