Duties Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Utilize sales techniques such as upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and increase store revenue. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately. Assist with stock management by restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to foster a collaborative work environment. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and change during transactions. Supervise junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred, particularly in a grocery store setting. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively. Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and inventory management. Experience with retail math is a plus, helping to analyze sales trends and stock levels. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting store products is highly valued.
