Responsibilities Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards Operate POS systems such as Lightspeed POS to process orders, payments, and refunds accurately Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing workstations and ensuring food safety compliance Assist with prepping, baking and packaging to ensure timely delivery of orders Support the team with kitchen tasks such as food prep, stocking supplies, and maintaining sanitation standards Skills Experience in food preparation and food service environments such as quick service or fast food restaurants Proficiency with POS systems including Lightspeed; previous cashiering experience is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while multitasking effectively Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy Previous restaurant or café experience is highly desirable; Join us today to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering great experiences!
