Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of used vehicles to identify mechanical issues and safety concerns Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately pinpoint problems and determine effective solutions Replace worn or damaged parts with precision. Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of all jobs Experience Proven experience as a mechanic specializing in used or pre-owned vehicles, with a strong understanding of automotive systems Familiarity with diagnostic software and mechanical tools used in modern vehicle repair Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently and accurately Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and commitment to quality workmanship Excellent communication skills for explaining repairs clearly to customers and/or team members Knowledge of safety standards applicable to automotive repair environments Must Haves Must have previous automotive repair experience Must have tools. (some basic tools are provided) Must have a drivers license Must have a strong work ethic We are a small family owned car dealership located in Southside. We have a great work environment, that is laid back and a team that is easy to work with. You will be responsible for managing the shop and making sure the inventory is ready to sell.
