Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Utility Office Clerk to join our administrative team. In this vital role, you will support the efficient operation of the clerk's office by managing legal and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping. Your energetic approach will help maintain smooth office functions while providing exceptional service to the public and legal professionals alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the community through organized, precise, and timely support. Duties Entering Manage data entry tasks related to records, posting meter readings, and administrative databases Handle clerical responsibilities such as filing, scanning, and organizing, files Provide excellent customer service by responding to public inquiries. Maintain filing systems, ensuring all records are current, accessible, and properly stored Support office operations by performing general administrative tasks such as word processing, scheduling appointments, and managing supplies Assist with cash handling procedures during fee collection. Requirements Prior office experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in data entry, word processing software, and filing systems Experience in clerical duties such as filing, copying, scanning, and record management Exceptional customer service skills for interacting professionally with the public and legal professionals Ability to handle cash transactions accurately when required Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
